Verdict

ESCAPE MAGIC made a successful handicap debut at Leicester at the end of May and Owen Burrows' filly is entitled to have further progression to come after a 5lb rise. Musical Soldier didn't seem to get home over a mile at Bath and should prove happier dropping back in trip. Others to consider include the likes of Luna Beaux and Ken Brulee.

ESCAPE MAGIC is a strong selection here. She's only gone up 5lb for winning on fast ground over 7f on her handicap debut and that form has been franked several times. Ken Brulee is well treated on his penultimate run and did best of those forcing the pace last time. He can chase the selection home ahead of Musical Soldier who was in good form until last time where he failed to stay 1m.
