Harb produced a better effort when filling the runner-up spot at Hamilton recently and the booking of Jason Hart is noteworthy. Great struck at Pontefract over this trip two starts ago and is a player based on that evidence, but it's QILA who appeals most. He's posted a couple of improved efforts since undergoing wind surgery and should have more to give.
Managing Director has returned from a lengthy absence with three good runs and he clearly retains plenty of ability, but rain would be a concern, as it is for Military Girl, who was in fine form until latest. DAIZEN couldn't be called consistent, but he'll enjoy any rain that arrives and is only 3lb higher than when winning at Thirsk in June. Harb, coming off a good second at Hamilton, and Miss Brazen, who got no run last time but is drawn wide, are others to consider.
