Basilette has held her form generally quite well and could still be nicely treated on the level, even though she has gone up 1lb for a Salisbury second when she was beaten the best part of three lengths. Just Adair is better than he was able to show at Ffos Las and the cheekpieces go on, but FRAM CASTLE's stamina is more assured because he went agonisingly close at Lingfield before picking up minor money at Newmarket. He remains on a handy mark and could be ready to capitalise.
BASILETTE has been in excellent form in both codes this summer and the strong stayer is already a course winner. She has only gone up 1lb for her recent runner up effort and is chosen to beat the inconsistent Fram Castle who has bounced back to form on his last couple of runs. His penultimate run has been boosted significantly so he is picked to fill the places with the unexposed Notable Charm who did a bit too much too soon in first time blinkers last time.
