Verdict

The tentative vote goes to MAGIE DU CHENET (11) in what looks a very open handicap hurdle. She has been running well recently with several placed efforts and can edge thus ahead of MELCHIOR DU LARGE (1), who has to deal with top-weight but can be expected to make an impact. MONNAIE COURANTE (7) has solid each-way aspirations and ran well at this track in a Class 3 hurdle when third in late April. She will be ready to go after a layoff. PAREIL PAREIL (13) has not got inspiring form figures but has shown talent and can make the top four with a clear round of jumping.
