Stable Tour Quotes
Roger Varian (05 June 2026): "Al Azd will go for the King George V Handicap on the Wednesday. He ran in the London Gold Cup last time and didn’t run badly but the trip was a bit sharp for him and sort of everything went wrong. He had won his previous two starts and won very well at Doncaster on firm ground over a mile and a half. That’s his game fast ground, and a mile and a half and if it’s a dry week at Ascot, I think this race will really suit him. He’s off 92 which is a good mark, and he’s got experience which you need for that race."
