Roger Fell Stable Tour

Yorkshire trainer Roger Fell was over the moon when Tamreer gave him his first Ebor Festival winner at York and runs the rule over the rest of his string for the edification of our readers.

ROGER FELL had the result that most Yorkshire trainers dream of when Tamreer provided him with a first winner at York’s Ebor Festival when bravely defying Corelli in the Sky Bet Handicap in August and in his fourth season with a trainer's licence his career is very much spiralling in an upward direction.

Fell has already matched his winner total of 56 last year and with a prize money total of £587,428 falling a little short of the £667,835 of last year but that tally was very much down to the exploits of the now retired Burnt Sugar whose big handicap success in 2018 included the Gigaset International at Ascot and the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket.

Fell relies on mainly established handicappers for the lion’s share of his prize money but his ability to eke out a little more from them at his Arthington Barn Stables in Nawton, North Yorkshire is there for all to see.

Roger kindly spoke to Tony Elves of attheraces.com about those who have contributed to another successful campaign.
