Lucy Wadham Stable Tour

The Newmarket trainer has enjoyed an excellent start to 2025, with recent winners Terresita, Jax Junior and Telepathique all looking to have bright futures.

Lucy Wadham does extremely well with her small team of horses at Moulton Paddocks in Newmarket and was one of the stars at the recent Berkshire Winter Million weekend when notching up a near 63-1 double at Ascot on the Saturday.

Terresita set the ball rolling with a four-and-a-quarter-length success from Hitman in the bet365 Handicap Chase before Jax Junior put himself in line for loftier targets when making all for a 17-length victory over Country Park in the BetMGM EBF 'National Hunt' Novices’ Hurdle.

The following day Telepathique put herself in line for possible black-type success when scoring by nine and a half lengths in the valuable Sky Bet Boudica Series Final Mares’ Handicap Chase at Fakenham, with that win providing Lucy with her 13th success of the campaign from just 67 runners.

There aren’t many fixtures at the close-to-hand Fakenham track that pass without a winner for the Wadham team, with the trainer having notched up 72 successes at the popular Norfolk venue.

Arqoob and The Glen Rovers look set to keep the stable ticking over on the All-Weather and, for obvious reasons, Lucy is delighted with the form of her team at present.

Lucy said: "It has been a wonderful season, and it was great to have a double at Ascot on Winter Million weekend. We have some lovely horses, so let’s hope they stay fit and healthy and can add to our success."

Lucy kindly talked to Tony Elves of attheraces.com about her Newmarket team.
