Rated 121, he won the KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown last year and made a winning return to action in the Chester Vase prior to winning the Irish Derby at the Curragh.

Trainer says

We were delighted with his runs in the Irish Derby and the King George. The Arc didn’t go his way as he missed the kick, got bottled up on the inside and they went no pace, so we’re happy to put a line through that. Ryan was very keen to ride him here if he got a low draw, but we had to put the jockeys down before the draw, so we took the chance and he got the draw we wanted. We’ve done plenty of stalls work with him and hopefully he’ll be quicker from them which will help him get a position. We always felt he’d love this track, as he’s a long-striding, low-moving horse that should love a flat track on fast ground.

Form profile

Rated 121, she is a four-time Group 1 winner including the Prix Marcel Boussac and Poule d'Essai Des Pouliches at ParisLongchamp, the Prix de Diane at Chantilly and the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood.

Trainer says

She ran a stormer in the Arc. She had a wide draw, and it ended up being a slowly-run race. She quickened up to win, but just got run out of it by a very good colt. She’s one that we’ll have to ride to get the trip, but this track should suit her.

Form profile

Rated 115, she is a four-time Group 1 winner including the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh, the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket, the Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh and the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Trainer says

We were very happy with her run in the Prix de l’Opera. It was her first try at a mile-and-a-quarter and Ryan was always going to take his time on her. It just got a little bit messy, but we were delighted with her run, and we think this course and distance is going to suit her well.

Form profile

Rated 115, he won the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at ParisLongchamp and the Criterium International at Saint-Cloud as a juvenile and most recently finished a close third in the Prix de la Foret at ParisLongchamp.

Trainer says

Puerto Rico ran very well in the Prix de le Foret last time. We think this course and distance is going to suit him well and if he brings his best form to the table, he could run a very good race.

Form profile

Rated 113, she is a three-time Group 1 winner including the Cheveley Park Stakes and the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket as well as the Prix de la Foret at ParisLongchamp.

Trainer says

She is effective at seven furlongs, but she won the 1000 Guineas and they have to stay to win that race. A mile here around the bend is likely to suit her. She needs things to go right for her, and she needs to save her energy. Ideally, she doesn’t want to be in front for too long.

Form profile

Rated 112, he won the Futurity Stakes at the Curragh in August and most recently finished fourth in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at ParisLongchamp.

Trainer says

Florida Bay has been kept busy, but he has form tying in with plenty of the better two-year-olds around. He is stepping back up in trip here and is a straightforward ride. He has a good draw, and I could see him run a big race.

Form profile

Rated 112, he has won the Marble Hill Stakes at the Curragh and the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. He most recently finished third to Darkness Falls in the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.

Trainer says

The vets have been having a good look at him. He had a little bit of a stone bruise and was a little bit sore, but he has got much better and nearly perfect on Thursday, but the vets didn’t him work on the track. They’ll look at him again on Friday and we’ll see what happens. He has a wide draw, but Ryan will be taking his time on him anyway. His stamina is an unknown, but he is a relaxed horse that ran well over seven furlongs in the Dewhurst, so he’ll have a good shot of staying the trip.

Form profile

Rated 111, he has won three of his six starts including the Acomb Stakes at York and the Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket.

Trainer says

He stays well and will enjoy this distance. We’re just hoping that this track isn’t a bit tight for him. When he got a strong mile at Newmarket he really thrived and he is likely to stay a mile-and-a-quarter next year, so that’s the type he is. This will be a good test of him and we’re looking forward to seeing what he does.

Form profile

Rated 121, she has won six of her eight starts including a remarkable three Group 1 wins, namely the Phoenix Stakes and the Moyglare Stakes at the Curragh and the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.

Trainer says

She’s a very special filly. The lads decided to skip the Fillies’ Mile with her so that she could be as right as she can be for this race. We can never be sure of anything, and we can’t be sure that she will stay this longer trip, but she stayed seven furlongs with an ease in the ground at the Curragh very well and usually when they can do that they’ll stay a mile in America. We’re looking forward to seeing what she can do.
