Verdict
JAPURA tried hard but found one better in Durban Diamond who could be a smart filly in the making. JAPURA looks overdue but has drawn toward the outside. MEKONG made a fair debut, finishing only 1.70 lengths behind JAPURA and having drawn well could make more of a race of it. ANUSHKA caught the eye in her first try and may make the improvement needed to win in her second start. But there are first-timers to watch out for. CHERRYBLOSSOMPINK is very well bred and could be the one to follow.
