Ben Pauling (07 October 2026): "He is really nice horse and he won well and then was unlucky to be beaten in the Grade 2 at Cheltenham. To be honest he was all weak at the end of the season, but we thought it would be good experience for the horse, so we ran him at Cheltenham. He ran well until two out and made a mistake and that put paid to his chances. He will drop back in trip to two miles and will go straight novice chasing and I think he could end up being a decent novice this year."

Ben Pauling (23 February 2026): "Taurus Bay is in the Turners, I took him out of the Supreme, and he is a very, very talented horse and still a shell of a horse at the moment. Even though he is the Turners I want to see a little bit more from him before I roll the dice. If I go there, he will be ready to go there but I think he is a proper, proper chaser for next year."
