Aidan O'Brien (30 October 2026): "Puerto Rico ran very well in the Prix de le Foret last time. We think this course and distance is going to suit him well and if he brings his best form to the table, he could run a very good race."

Aidan O'Brien (12 June 2026): "He’s on track for the St James’s Palace Stakes. We had been training him for the 2000 Guineas and felt we had him peaking for it, but we decided to switch him to France the following week and the edge might just have gone off him by the time he got there. He ran very well on the day, but we feel he’s better than that run and we’ve been training him for this race since then, so he is fully lined up this time."

Aidan O'Brien (16 March 2026): "Sure, I did a very bad job with him last year, didn’t I? I was running him over six furlongs early in the season. We ran him in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood, and the poor fella hardly touched the ground - he was flat out the whole way! In fairness to him, he missed two months early in the year and was probably playing catch up all the time. It was only when he stepped up to seven furlongs later in the season that he caught up and really started to thrive. He improved again when he stepped up to a mile. He’s scopey, he’s strong and his mind has really gone the right way. He’s being trained for the Guineas, but it won’t be decided which one until closer to the time. He could either go to Newmarket with Albert Einstein or potentially go for the French Guineas instead."
