Form Snapshot: Winner of three hurdle races, a NH flat race and three chases from 2m to 4m 2f on ground varying from good to heavy, but last win was over two years ago. Well beaten at 11-2 when sixth of 14 on his latest outing in a chase at Punchestown over 4m 2f (good) in April.
Christian Williams (31 January 2020): "He has been a brilliant horse and would have won his last five chases if he hadn’t fallen twice in between. He fell in the Eider and won the Midlands National and won a Welsh National and it has been great for the yard. He is a real breakthrough horse and all systems lead to Aintree now. He might go to Auteuil on March 7 for a £75,000 Listed hurdle – he has been out there twice before so we know he travels and he’s a laid back character. The track suits him and the two miles and six on easy ground will be in his favour.
Winning the Welsh National was brilliant and that had been the plan since he won the Midlands National last year.
