Nicky Henderson (24 February 2026): "I would like to think he would have leading claims in the Stayers’ Hurdle, but he would want good ground. He did very little wrong on Trials Day, it was very soft and he was giving 6lb and Nico has always said he would be a better horse on good ground. If we get that he can be very competitive. He was the one I said on Trials Day we should have been taking out, and he was a lot better horse in the Long Walk. It was great to see him working so well today as at home I can go home have a coffee and watch him finish. He just isn’t a good work horse."

Nicky Henderson (15 October 2025): "We schooled him over fences, but he was running so well in decent handicap hurdles that we decided to keep to that for the time being. He gives you every impression that he should go chasing and he could be top-class if he makes the transition."
