Nicky Henderson (15 October 2025): "He has joined us this season and is a lovely gelding. Obviously last season wasn’t quite up to his normal standards, but we would be looking to getting him back to that higher level. Two and a half miles looks his best trip and, if all goes well, he could be an exciting prospect for us."

Paul Nicholls (02 April 2025): "He runs in the Topham Chase. He has had a little bit of a dip and a frustrating season this year and we thought he might have stepped up from novice company to making a really good open company chaser. That hasn’t happened but we are going to put cheekpieces and a tongue tie on and if takes to the fences and gets in a good rhythm he could run a good race. "

Paul Nicholls (24 February 2025): "He had a good season last year winning three at Cheltenham and ran very well in the Turners Novices’ Chase and he ran second in the Grade 1 at Aintree. He had two hard races and took a little time to get over that. He has run ok but not as well as we hoped he would in three runs this season but takes a lot of time to get fit. I think we have him fit now and he has dropped a bit in the handicap and is down to 149. We are going to run him in the Plate Handicap on the Thursday and hope he comes back to form. He tends to like Cheltenham and likes the New Course. He is still in the Ryanair but now he’s dropped down a bit we won’t run him in that. I think he is paying the price of some hard races last season, but we are very happy where he is now, and he will head to the handicap on the Thursday."

Paul Nicholls (21 October 2024): "He had a great season winning three novice handicap chases at Cheltenham and he went very close at the Festival itself where he came up against his old mate Grey Dawning and he beat us on the day. He would have gone to Newton Abbot last Saturday, but it was watered off and I imagine the plan would be to go straight for the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham in November."

Paul Nicholls (26 February 2024): "He is probably one of the most improved horses in training arguably and he has won his last three. He won at Cheltenham and was very good on the New course which suits him well. He has made all in his three runs and galloped on strongly up the Cheltenham hill and probably stays three miles even though we haven’t gone that far yet. He was with Tom Lacey last season and the owner sent him to us. He was so fat when he joined us, he needed his first run and the experience, and I knew he would improve massively but I didn’t expect him to improve so much from run to run. He jumps well keeps on galloping and is a smart animal. I would say he is one of our best chances in the novice chase as he jumps well and loves the course and I think he is still improving. Claudia who rides him says he is as good a Pic D’Orhy and Cliff and I were laughing at her but she might actually be right. He did a fantastic bit of work before he ran the last day and is obvious a very talented horse. He is every bit as good as Stage Star and is higher rated than him going into the Turners. He ran Trials Day and doesn’t need a racecourse gallop and he is one you can get ready at home. He is ready go."

Paul Nicholls (18 October 2023): "He showed useful form for Tom Lacey in novice hurdles last season and has joined us at Manor Farm. He will go novice chasing and could be an interesting recruit to that division."

Tom Lacey (05 January 2023): "He is a lovely horse, and we will go for the Ballymore Novices’ at Warwick. We will just take it step by step and see where he takes us."
