Joseph O'Brien (21 February 2023): "He’s only a possible runner at this stage and the Plate Handicap Chase would be his most likely option if he went. He had a bad fall in the Kerry National, but is working his way back into good form."

Joseph O'Brien (28 October 2022): "Fire Attack took a fall in the Kerry National and was a bit sore after it. We won’t rush him back and it might not be until Christmas before you see him again. He has always been a very talented horse, but he’s hard on himself and races freely. If he ever starts to relax and be more measured, there is a big day in him."

Joseph O'Brien (14 October 2021): "We are going to go novice chasing with him. His schooling has been good and we’re looking forward to seeing how he takes to them on the track. He was a difficult ride at times over hurdles, so the hope is that he’ll be a bit more relaxed over fences. We’ll most likely start him off over two miles, but he could try a bit further later in the season."
