Willie Mullins (11 February 2026): "He wasn’t himself the last day. We were looking to see if it was the ground or if we were missing something at home. We’re changing a few things with him at home to see if that helps. We think he has the ability, but we just want to get that spark back into him."

Willie Mullins (08 October 2025): "He’s a realty exciting horse for novice chases and will be one for the staying division. He’s a huge horse, well over 17hh, and he has lots of scope to jump. We won’t worry too much about what trip we start him off over, but as the season progresses and he goes up in grade, he’ll go up in trip."

Willie Mullins (06 February 2025): "The Albert Bartlett isn’t a race I want to go for with him. He’s only had two runs, and I’d like a horse who started earlier in the season for that race. I think it’s a tough race on horses for the rest of their career and I don’t think he needs that. I think even the two-miles five-furlongs at Cheltenham in the Turners Novices’ Hurdle is very tough on a horse and that would be a big enough question to ask him at this stage. Looking at him, he looks a real chaser. He must be 17.2hh. He’s as strong as any horse I’ve had. Strength-wise, he probably looks more like Florida Pearl. He’s so strong through the body, whereas Galopin Des Champs is a very different type of horse. He’s much more evenly balanced through the body and a lighter-framed individual. This fellow is a big unit and I’m happy to aim for the Turners before going novice chasing next season."
