George Boughey (13 April 2026): "He was a fraction disappointing in the Rosebery the other day, but he was drawn wide and had a very interrupted passage down the straight. He’s a horse who I think, on a big galloping track, will be a better horse this year. He now looks the finished article, and he’s an exciting horse to have."

George Boughey (11 June 2025): "El Burhan is in the Britannia and the Golden Gates and he is a horse who though he is rated 95 has not quite had his ideal conditions yet. He needs a strong pace and a galloping track either over a mile or a mile and quarter. He pleased me at Chester and I think truly run handicap can play to his strengths. It will be a late decision which race he goes for but whichever race it is I think he can be competitive."

George Boughey (14 April 2025): "He has been gelded over the winter. He missed the backend of his two-year-old career, just going a bit weak after an impressive early-season campaign. He is a horse we will see over 10 furlongs, and he will be seen to best effect on softer ground."
