Gordon Elliott (22 October 2024): "He’s been a brilliant horse and has back in looking fantastic. We will be looking at the cross-country chase at the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National for him again. We might mix it up with him and give him a couple of runs over hurdles to keep him sweet."

Gordon Elliott (09 April 2024): "He’ll run in the Grand National. He’s in great form. To be honest. I think he’s in the best form that I’ve had him in for the last couple of years. He’s moving great, he’s going there fresh and I’m really happy with him. He’ll love the soft ground. I’m also going to put blinkers on him for the first time."

Gordon Elliott (26 February 2024): "He’s been trained for two races all season, the cross-country chase at the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National. We think he’s coming to himself now and hitting form at the right time. He worked well at Fairyhouse the other day. He’s giving us every sign that he retains as much ability as he had last year."

Gordon Elliott (16 November 2023): "We’ll declared him for the cross-country race at Cheltenham this weekend. He has loads of weight, but he’s earned it and on soft ground he should have a very good chance. We’ll are working backwards from the Cheltenham Festival with him and that’s where he’ll be at his peak."

Gordon Elliott (12 April 2023): "He’s flying. I couldn’t be any happier with him. The Grand National has been one of our big aims with him all season. He’s one that you’d love to see lots of rain for as he handles testing ground and stays very well, so he’d be a lot less inconvenienced than many of the others. Looking back at his run in the race last year, he jumped a bit too careful early on and that put him further back in the field than ideal. He had to use a fair bit of petrol to get into a challenging position and he just ran out of puff up the run-in. I’m strongly considering putting cheekpieces on him as I think they’ll help him."

Gordon Elliott (28 February 2023): "Delta Work won the Cross-Country Chase last year and he’ll go for it again. He has more experience of it all now and that will stand to him. He takes a couple of runs to get right and I was very happy with his last run. He goes on decent ground, but he’s a lot more effective on softer ground. He must have a great chance, especially if they get some rain. He’ll have a big chance in the Grand National too."

Gordon Elliott (03 November 2022): "He’ll be trained for the Cross-Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National at Aintree. Considering he jumped a little bit careful early on in the Grand National, he ran a great race to be third and it would be great to get him back there in top form to have another crack at it with that experience under his belt."

Gordon Elliott (01 March 2022): "Delta Work is aiming towards the cross-country race. He got a bit jarred up at Leopardstown last season and hasn’t been quite the same since, so we thought we’d try this with him and see how he gets on. We sent him over to Cheltenham last week to give him a school around the cross-country track and I was delighted with him. Saying that, it’s very hard to win the cross-country race on your first try around that track. Either way, we think it’s a nice way to get him to the Grand National as it might sweeten him up."

Gordon Elliott (02 February 2022): "We’ll run him in the Irish Gold Cup, He came back a bit jarred up from this race last year and has been a little bit disappointing since, particularly on his latest run in the Savills Chase. We feel he’s in good order and we’re going to try and do things a little bit differently this time. We’re going to take all the headgear off him and ride him handier. Hopefully that will help bring him back to himself, as we know he has the ability to be very competitive at this level when on song."

Gordon Elliott (13 October 2021): "He had a setback last season that shortened his campaign, but he’s back now and is in great form. The plan is to start him back in the Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal and then hopefully kick on to the Savills Chase at Leopardstown. He’s still a relatively young horse and we’re hopeful we can get him back to where he was."
