Joseph O'Brien (12 June 2025): "He gave us a day to remember when winning the Queen Alexandra at this meeting a couple of years ago and he ran well in it again last year. He’s not getting any younger and he has come down the ratings, so the plan is to go for the Ascot Stakes with him this year. His stamina is proven, and he is a straightforward ride, so that will stand to him in a race where plenty of them have questions to answer at the trip."

Joseph O'Brien (19 March 2025): "Dawn Rising has been a wonderful horse and he’s ready to start back on the track. He is likely to run at Naas this weekend and hopefully he can show some of his old spark. He has run in the last two renewals of the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot and it would be great to get him back there, but he is getting older, and he’ll need to show he retains plenty of his ability between now and then if we are to point him there."

Joseph O'Brien (12 June 2024): "He gave us a great day when winning the Queen Alexandra Stakes for JP McManus last year and that race has been his aim this year. He’s a big, strong older horse and has taking a fair bit of getting fit this year. He improved from his first start to his second and has improved again since then. He is ground versatile and proved his stamina for the extreme trip last year, so he’s one we’re looking forward to."
