French runners at Royal Ascot (15 June 2026): "The horse has been in great form. We couldn’t be more happy with him really. He is a horse that in the off-season, when he is not in full training can become quite full of himself. But once when he is racing, he is very straight forward. Last year it obviously didn’t work out when he travelled to York. But I think he is much more mature, he has strengthened, he is more of the finished article this year. Mentally it will be a bigger test but since we put the red hood on him in the preliminaries, he had it on for the first time in the Arc, it has kept a lid on his energy. He settled really well in his last race, and yes, it is a stiffer test against much tougher and proven performers and he has to be at his best, but we are very happy with him. He worked wall, he worked with Rayif and everything has been very straight forward since his last run. Now, he just has to get through the travel, the preliminaries, but as I said, he is much more mature, much more of the finished article. And the nice thing with Daryz is that he goes on any ground. Francis-Henri Graffard (16 April 2026): "He is going to start his year in the Prix Ganay. He worked on Wednesday and worked well. He looks really well. He is really strong and has been pleasing me week after week and so I’m looking forward to seeing him on the track and start the season. We are not working back from the Arc. My goal is to have him to 100% for the Prince of Wales’s Stakes. That is ideally what I would like to achieve with him this year. The Arc is still a long way away. I’m starting to run him earlier than I wanted to. But he is very strong and he wanted to work. I didn’t want to rush him and so he has been working for a while now. He should be ready in ten days’ time. I’m happy that the races are now coming for him and we can start."
Francis-Henri Graffard (17 April 2025): "He is very, very immature. He won nicely because he is a nice horse. I think I will run him in a conditions’ race to give him some more experience. He is a prospect for the Grand Prix de Paris, but I really have to go step by step with him because he is very immature. "
