Expert View:
Run of race, improved back on deep ground when winning a handicap at Haydock by 2l last time; top course trainer; effective 8f, acts with plenty of give, on good and AW; 2-2 on heavy and well worth his place back at this higher level.
Form Snapshot: He has won three times at 1m on heavy ground and on the all-weather. A winner at 5-1 at Haydock over 1m (heavy) on his latest outing last month, beating Checkandchallenge by 1 3/4l. Has also won at Southwell this season.
