Stephane Wattel (02 August 2026): "He will run the Grand Prix de Deauville. I hope he will have a great chance in that race. He didn’t have a good run in the Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot. The ground was a bit too quick, and he seemed a bit nervous that day and maybe he wasn’t in the best of forms. It just didn’t really go to plan. He is an improving colt, and the Group 2 in Deauville is a good target for him. He will prefer a bit of cut in the ground, so hopefully we will get that."

French runners at Royal Ascot (15 June 2026): "He worked really well on Thursday and so we are now going to Royal Ascot for the Hardwicke Stakes. He is a very strong individual and we always thought that he would progress with time. Hence, after he won his Listed at the end of last year, we didn’t run him again. And now we are lucky that he has confirmed what we always thought of him. He has made a real step forward. He won really well on his second start this season. He ran well on his seasonal reappearance, when he only quickened quite late, but as I said, his second start was very good. He has won in good and very soft ground, so we are not worried about ground conditions. He is a true 1m4f horse, who likes a race with a proper pace. We know he travels as he has come over to Ascot and he won at Goodwood. (Stephane Wattel)"

Wathnan Racing (13 June 2026): "The Hardwicke Stakes is obviously going to be a very difficult race to win but this is a horse we hold in high regard. He won well at Paris Longchamp when beating West Wind Blows three wickets and that takes some doing. We think he is potentially a Group 1 horse, but he is going to have to be as the Hardwicke is a Group 1 race in all but name every year."
