Charlie and Mark Johnston (25 July 2022): "I would say that Beautiful Eye would be our representative in the Fillies’ Conditions Stakes on Wednesday. She won twice early doors and then finished fourth in the Marygate at York. She was a bit disappointing in the Albany but wasn’t quite right at that point. She ran a bit flat and she work earlier this week and is in really good form with herself. There are few in there she has to find with on the figures and she is also in the Nursery on the Friday over six. I will have to work out which she will go for, but I think she is better than she has shown at Ascot."

Charlie and Mark Johnston (13 June 2022): "She is entered in the Queen Mary and the Albany, and we haven’t decided which way to go. She won two fairly minor events at Ayr and Kempton but the form hasn’t worked out too badly and she beat Legend of Xanadu up at Ayr. I thought he ran really well in the Marygate at York and was just tapped for toe from two out to one out then stayed on nicely to the line. My gut reaction would be to go for Albany as we should be stepping up to six with her now but its a stiff five at Ascot. The last horse we won the Queen Mary with had won over six and I would say this year the Marygate looked pretty strong."
