Dylan Cunha (24 March 2025): "He was our first chase runner and he is nice. He is basically, naughty and Rishi Persad said on the television that morning that basically he shouldn’t be allowed to race but that’s why we have got him. He has done really well in Newmarket and strangely enough he is really liking it. He is one to follow and I am going to run him in the summer. He likes better ground and I think he will keep winning. "

Dr Richard Newland (03 March 2023): "Mahons Glory goes to Kelso on Saturday. He is a hard horse to train, but he is very talented and won well at Aintree in the autumn. He probably didn’t stay three miles at Doncaster, and we are bringing him back to two and a half miles. He is entered at Cheltenham in the Coral Cup and the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Hurdle, but he would have to win and get a penalty, and he still might not get in. We will see how he does at Kelso and go from there. The forecast good to soft would be fine, so he wouldn’t have any problem with the ground."
