David Pipe (12 February 2026): "He is waiting for some better ground, and I don’t think he wants it quite this soft. He did well last season and will probably have a busy spring campaign."

David Pipe (25 November 2024): "He did well last year but he’s had a great start to the season, and he has improved. He is only six and we thought he put up a really good performance at Chepstow. I had this plan in the back of my mind to possibly go for the Sefton if he crept into the bottom of the weights and we did with the penalty and all that. He has always been a very bold jumper, and we schooled him at home, and he took to the National fences like we hoped he would do and then battled on really well. We will see what the weather does and what the ground is like but he could go back to Aintree for the Becher. Over that long trip, I don’t think he will want the ground too soft so we will see. On the same day there is the Welsh Grand National Trial at Chepstow and that would be another suitable race for him."
