Gavin Cromwell Stable Tour

Form profile

A French import, he ran well without winning in two starts over hurdles at Compiegne before joining Cromwell.

Trainer says

He’s a lovely three-year-old that is pleasing us at home. We’ll get him going in the next month or so.

Form profile

A 136-rated chaser, in 2025 he won the Summer Plate at Market Rasen prior to finishing second in the American Grand National at Far Hills.

Trainer says

We have decided not to go back to America with him this year and we have targets for him closer to home. He’s an obvious one for valuable handicap chases and we are looking forward to getting him back on track.

Form profile

Won a bumper at Down Royal prior to finishing fourth in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival and third in the equivalent race at the Punchestown Festival.

Trainer says

He’s a lovely horse that we are looking forward to. We are looking to start him off over hurdles in the next month or so. We might start him off at two miles with a view to potentially stepping up to two-and-a-half miles later in the season.

Form profile

A 147-rated chaser, he won a cross-country chase at Cheltenham in December and then the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

Trainer says

He is on track for the Velka Pardubicka. We’ve been training him for it, and he seems in great order. Whatever happens there, we’ll be sending him down the cross-country route when he comes home.

Form profile

A two-time Listed race winner on the Flat in France prior to joining Cromwell.

Trainer says

He’s a lovely horse. He hadn’t done any jumping before he came to us, but he’s getting better at it all the time. I’d say he’s one that will stay beyond two miles over hurdles. We’ll look to get him started in a maiden hurdle in the next month or so. Winter ground shouldn’t be a problem for him.

Form profile

A 151-rated hurdler, he has won three of his nine starts over hurdles including the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival in 2025.

Trainer says

We started him off over fences the other day at Sligo and I’d describe his jumping as having been adequate. He was a little sticky and slow in the air early, but I liked how he jumped better as the pace increased. I think he’ll sharpen up with that experience under his belt. He’ll hopefully make up into a nice chaser.

Form profile

Festival in 2024 and the Gold Cup back at that meeting in 2025. He failed to feature in five starts over fences last season.

Trainer says

He’s come back to us in great shape. Our fingers are crossed that we get a clear run with him this season, as we just never got a clear run with him last season. Hopefully the long break has sorted it all out. He is just cantering away at the minute, and we haven’t thought about a starting point for him.

Form profile

A two-time point-to-point winner, he won a bumper at the Punchestown Festival in May.

Trainer says

I’d say we are going to go straight over fences with him. He has always looked like a chaser and is that bit older too, so there’s no point having around with him over hurdles. He’s going to be a stayer.

Form profile

Won a 10f maiden at Angers in May prior to changing hands for €230,000 and joining Cromwell in July.

Trainer says

He’s a nice three-year-old that we bought in France. He’s been schooling well and is a good strong horse that will be ready to start off over hurdles in the next month or so.

Form profile

An unraced daughter of Tunis, she realised €260,000 at the Derby Sale in 2025.

Trainer says

She’s a big mare. We’re going to start her off in a bumper and nothing in set in stone as to whether we stay in bumpers or go hurdling later this season. She’ll handle proper winter ground. We’ll run her in a bumper in a month or so and make a plan based on what we see there.

Form profile

A 148-rated chaser, he got off the mark over fences when winning the Thyestes Chase at Gowran Park in January.

Trainer says

He had a little setback that has meant he has only just started back. We’ll hope to have him back on the track after Christmas. We were aiming for the Grand National last season and that’s most likely what we’ll aim him at this season.

Form profile

A 150-rated chaser, she has won four of her nine starts over fences including a Grade 3 at Naas in November.

Trainer says

She’s back and might start back in the race she won at Naas last year. The Mares’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival is the obvious race for her and that’s what she’ll be aimed at.

Form profile

A 141-rated chaser, he won the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown’s Christmas meeting in 2024.

Trainer says

He doesn’t seem to be quite the horse he was, but we’ll keep working with him and hopefully he can pop up to win a good handicap chase at some point.

Form profile

A 149-rated chaser, he won the Glenfarclas Cross-Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and the Velka Pardubicka in 2025.

Trainer says

We are looking to start him back in the Munster National at Limerick. After that, he could go back to Punchestown for a banks race in November. The cross-country chase at the Cheltenham Festival is the obvious race for him.

Form profile

A 133-rated chaser, he won the Leinster National Handicap Chase at Naas in March.

Trainer says

He’s a staying handicap chaser that will be an obvious one for all those big handicap chases, but we might dip back over hurdles with him too. There is a handicap hurdle at Navan in December that we have an eye on for him.

Form profile

A winning point-to-pointer, he made a promising debut when second in a bumper at the Fairyhouse Easter Festival in April.

Trainer says

He’s a lovely horse that is likely to go straight over hurdles with him. He’s a staying chaser in the making and will likely go up in trip over hurdles this season.

Form profile

A 142-rated hurdler, she won a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in January prior to finishing third in the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Trainer says

I’d say we’ll most likely stay over hurdles with him and go down the staying hurdle route. The Lismullen Hurdle at Navan could be a good starting point for him.

Form profile

An unraced full-brother to the Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin.

Trainer says

I’m not sure what we’ll start him off in, but he’s a lovely horse. We’ll had a lot of luck with the family and are looking forward to getting him going.

Form profile

A 147-rated chaser, he won the Topham Handicap Chase at Aintree in April.

Trainer says

We’ve kept him busy, so will give him a little break now with a view to being back for Christmas. He has won over the Grand National fences, so aiming him at the Grand National later in the season makes sense.

Form profile

A 140-rated chaser, he won the Grand National Trial Handicap Chase at Haydock in 2024 and finished second in the Troytown Chase at Navan last February.

Trainer says

He’s a staying handicap chaser that enjoys soft ground. He was second in the Troytown Chase last year and we’ll look to get him back there in top form if we can.
