Multiple Betting Tips

Anthony Ennis has a suggested each-way Yankee on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday.

Majborough will go to post as the red-hot favourite for the Champion Chase in the absence of defending champ Marine Nationale. However, his erratic jumping from last year's Arkle is still in the mind and I couldn't touch him at odds on around here.

His stablemate IL ETAIT TEMPS makes more appeal at the prices. If the grey had sidestepped Ascot for the Clarence House he would be vying with Majborough for favouritism. He never looked like himself at Ascot last time and is better judged on his superb performance in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown in December.

It's been said that he doesn't act at Cheltenham but he faced some stiff tasks and was fifth in both a Triumph Hurdle and a Supreme and ran third to his classy stablemate Gaelic Warrior in an Arkle. He looks overpriced here if you draw a line under his last effort.

Paul Nicholls has always held NO DRAMA THIS END in the highest regard and the grey can justify his trainer's faith by landing the opening race on Day 2, the Turners Novices' Hurdle.

He showed his versatility when landing the Challow Hurdle at Newbury on ground that was probably quick enough for him. The 6yo looks to have a bright future and seems to do everything so effortlessly. This is clearly his toughest test to date but it will take a big effort from one of the others to lower his colours.

In the Brown Advisory at 2.00 I will side with KAID D'AUTHIE who was impressive at the Dublin Racing Festival in the race where Final Demand flopped.

There appeared to be no fluke about that Grade One success and he looks like a chaser on the up. His only defeat over fences came on his chasing bow when he found the classy Kitzbuhel too good at Punchestown in November.

Since then, he has won a beginners’ chase on New Years’ Day and the Grade One last time at the DRF.

LUCKY PLACE comes in here as a forgotten horse from the Henderson yard after some disappointing efforts over fences.

Brian Hughes rode a winner for the stable at last year’s meeting in Doddiethegreat in the Pertemps and he looks way overpriced in the 2.40. He ran a highly credible seventh in the stayers’ hurdle behind Bob Olinger here last term and didn’t look like he enjoyed his brief stint over fences.

He is a high class hurdler on his day and can run into a place at least here. His return to hurdles on New Years Day in the Relkeel was a solid enough effort finishing third to the classy Kabral Du Mathan.
