He is a lovely horse, and we weren’t disappointed with his performance when he was second first time out but, if that makes any sense, we were disappointed to be beaten. He improved from that to win nicely at Sandown two weeks ago where two miles on deep ground suited. We are going straight to the Tolworth Hurdle with him, and he could be nice.

He won at Wincanton on Thursday giving young Will Featherstone his first winner under Rules and he will probably run again this week with a penalty. He doesn’t want the depth of winter ground and he will be given a break then and be brought back for the spring.

Trainer says

He is a horse we have always thought a lot of in his bumper days and over hurdles. He won a novice hurdle at Cheltenham last season, and he didn’t really progress from that but he has developed into a fine strapping individual. Chasing was always going to be his game and he finished second to Boothill first time out at Newton Abbot and that horse won the big race at Ascot on Saturday. Our lad improved from Newton Abbot to win nicely at Chepstow a couple of weeks ago and he is going to run in a novices’ handicap chase at Newbury on Friday. You would like to think that he can run well there, and we can then step him up to Grade 2 company in the Lightning Novices’ Chase at Doncaster in January.

He is a lovely individual who finished third first time out in a bumper. He is a real smart individual, and he will stay in bumpers and should win one this year.

He is a horse with a lot of ability, but he spends a lot of time off games than he spends on. He is having a break now and will hopefully resume winning ways when he comes back in the spring.

He won a bumper first time out and ran well in a listed bumper at Ascot. Although he’s been placed three times over hurdles things haven’t really clicked for him. It will come and, perhaps when stepped up in trip.

She won a bumper and a maiden hurdle. She goes to Wincanton on Thursday, and you would like to think she can carry a penalty. The Mares’ Hurdle at Newbury at the end of the season would be her target.

Trainer says

He was a very good novice chaser two years ago and won the Grade 2 Rising Stars and was placed in Grade 1 company. He picked up an injury before the spring festivals and we gave him the best part of a year and a half off. He came back and ran a very nice prep race in the Grade 2 Old Roan Chase where he was beaten only a length and a half when finishing third and obviously improved on that when winning the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham. That had been the plan since he had got injured and it is great when a plan comes off like that. Going forward from here I would like to step him up in trip but he has had too quick runs so we might show a little patience now and we will wait to run him again in January. We might think of the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster and then go forward from there. He is a lovely horse, and you would like to think he might develop from there into a proper Grade 1 winner and performer.

He is is a lovely individual and he won three novice hurdles last year. His win at Newcastle rounded off a winner at every track for us which was a personal milestone. He was second over fences first time out at Sandown a couple of weeks ago and should step up on that especially when stepped up in trip.

I really want to run this horse over two miles over hurdles on deep ground. It really hasn’t happened, and he was a decent novice chaser last year. He ran well over hurdles at Wetherby last time and probably didn’t quite stay the two miles and three and a half.

He has been a star for us over the years and he obviously won on his reappearance at Market Rasen. That was a very good performance and we had intended dropping him back in trip at Ascot last Saturday, but the ground dried up. We will have to evaluate where we go from here, but we want to see him go sub two mile four and, hopefully, he can progress from there.

She was a very good novice chaser last season when winning on three occasions and she finished third in a Listed Mares’ Chase at Market Rasen last time out. She will go for a listed race at Newbury in mid-December and then we would like to step her up in trip in handicap company. We might try and work back from something like the Scottish National.

He was in mid division in the Fred Winter last season, and we haven’t yet figured him out. He finished runner-up first time out at Fakenham and was third at Hexham last time. There is more to come from this horse we just haven’t found all the pieces to the jigsaw yet.

She is a lovely filly and there is a new mares series hurdle which should suit her. She won one at Wetherby where she bolted up and she is going to go for a listed Fillies’ Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree at the beginning of December. We could work back from the festival if all goes well there.

He won a bumper very nicely on his debut for us and it didn’t quite happen in a listed race at Cheltenham last time. Maybe that race came too soon and he is a tough, hardy individual who will make a lovely novice hurdler next season. Hopefully, there is more to come from him in bumpers before then.

He had a very good novices’ chase season winning twice and he was fifth in the Grade 2 Old Roan earlier in the season. He fell at Wetherby at the second last when still in with a chance. I might drop him back to two miles on soft ground - he has a bit of speed and jumps well.

He made his chasing debut at Uttoxeter on Sunday and put in a highly encouraging display to finish second. He won two novices’ hurdles for us last season and is a proper chaser in the making. He can only improve for his first experience over fences and can soon go one better.

He has won three races for us and won a decent handicap at Haydock last season. We have just been waiting for the soft ground for him and he did run well in the Lanzarote last season where things didn’t go his way and he was only beaten about six lengths. We have unfinished business there and we try and go back and win it this time.

She is a very nice mare, and she could be very good. She won a bumper last season and she won at novices’ hurdle at Worcester in October and bolted up under a penalty at Hexham last week. She could go to Haydock on December 17th and she could be very good.
