Verdict

Connections of Rose's Dart reach for a first-time tongue-tie in the hope of bringing out some improvement after not beating a rival home the last twice, but she does at least take a drop in grade. Livano Bello remains on a workable mark and is noted, but it's hard to get away from NATUS VINCERE. Olly Murphy's mare struck in ready fashion at Huntingdon last month and looks to have been found a good opportunity to complete a double.

Watch out for: Rose's Dart (1)

NATUS VINCERE had plenty in hand when registering a first victory last time and should be able to defy an 8lb rise. Her previous returning run has been franked emphatically and her point form suggests this quicker ground won't be an issue. Course specialist Gms Prince failed to get home over 2 1/2m last time but was in good form previously so looks the main danger back down in distance. Livano Bello went too fast last time but was in decent form prior to that and is well treated on his French efforts so can't be dismissed either.
