PONY SOPRANO justified favouritism at Uttoxeter in comfortable fashion and this looks a suitable opportunity for him to follow up. The majority of his rivals have something to prove at present and a 7lb rise looks workable for Dan Skelton's charge. Although a well-beaten sixth at Wetherby in March, Arthur's Quay lurks on a dangerous mark. The veteran may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of three-time course winner Sean Og.
A 7lb rise for PONY SOPRANO after his cosy win last time looks lenient and he is selected to follow up. He relished the step up in trip that day and now he has ironed out his jumping errors he should have more to offer. Sean Og has an excellent record at this venue and has dropped to a workable mark. He was far from disgraced over an inadequate trip last time and should come on for that run so looks the biggest danger. Pour Les Filles has proven inconsistent since a move from Ireland but is well treated on his stable debut win and isn't dismissed either.
