Adrian Keatley insists he will not be changing anything as all-weather star Aisling Oscar targets an historic ninth successive handicap victory at Newcastle on Saturday.
The five-year-old has been a revelation since joining Wold House Stables from Craig O’Neill in October for just 3,200 guineas.
He finished third on his stable debut in November at Wolverhampton before his winning spree started at Newcastle with all bar his last time out victory at Southwell coming at Gosforth Park.
Aisling Oscar emulated Ballynakelly’s achievement of eight straight handicap wins for the late Reg Akehurst 30 years ago.

“You have to be confident,” Keatley said ahead of the 5.55pm race that will be live on Sky Sports Racing.
“He’s winning, he looks like he’s winning well.
“We’ve seen he’s gone up to 75. He’s well enough and he’s not telling us that he doesn’t want to run. We are ready to run him when we are ready to run.
“He doesn’t have to be ridden in one certain way, he seems to be enjoying his racing.
“Why would we change what we are doing? He seems to be winning, he seems to like the all-weather and seems to like seven furlongs or a mile so we’ll just keep doing what we are doing and see how long it lasts.”
